Hi Megan,
One of the things that we've found that helps with all of your current goals is by sharing them in a community. It makes them conscious, well know, and most importantly, you get the support you need to succeed and to develop better strategies. You should check out UpRace.com, it's a free goal setting community built along the likes of Twitter and Facebook. I've been using it and I've been able to lose 15 pounds and quit smoking. It really works!

I am not a goal setting "professional" but I will answer from what I've learned about life so far:
1)Congratulations!!! You made it through art school! That's an achievment in itself.
2)Write an inventory of the things that attracted you to the jobs you took; What aspects you liked about the jobs you did. (and any other life experiences you enjoyed...even as a child)
3)Finance is important; again inventory what exactly you found distastfull about the finabce job.
5)Find your likes and research areas in art that include your interests. example; if you found yourself working with children in your past you may find work teaching art to children; or old age homes or perhaps Starbucks has an art department etc...
finally: Everyone is in the financial crisis "globally"...find the people or organization you would like to hold hands with through it and chances are they would like to hold yours too.
